Committed to Ensuring a Pleasant Flight Experience for Your Child

*Effective from January 1, 2024, Egyptian minors (under 18 years old) are prohibited from traveling outside of Egypt without their legal guardian.


If a minor is traveling unaccompanied, prior permission must be obtained from the Communication Department under the General Administration of Passports, Immigration, and Nationality.


Sports Teams


  • Sports teams traveling with an official decree from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (bearing the eagle stamp of the Arab Republic of Egypt) may travel without prior permission.
  • Sports teams holding only a letter from the Game Federation must obtain prior permission from the Communication Department.


Unaccompanied Minors with flyplus


At flyplus Airlines, we are committed to making the journey of young travelers under 18 both safe and enjoyable. To ensure this, the following conditions and instructions apply:


Required Conditions


  • Completion of the flyplus Aviation Form for all unaccompanied minors.
  • Children under 2 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Children under 12 years old will be accompanied throughout the journey by a flyplus official, identifiable by a badge.


Important Instructions for Children 2–12 Years Old


  • A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to the departure airport.
  • The names of the guardians receiving the child at the arrival airport must be listed in the form.
  • The designated guardian must collect the child upon arrival.
  • Parents should ensure the child understands their journey and knows who will receive them at the arrival airport.
  • Children must carry their passport, ticket, and boarding pass at all times.
  • Parents are encouraged to familiarize the child with basic travel procedures.
  • Children should be instructed to seek help only from flyplus crew members if needed.
  • Children should never leave the airport or boarding gate area unless accompanied by a flyplus official wearing a badge.
